NewChoose how Othisis writes each document: the sections, their order, the format and the writing style. Start from a note you already like, the Othisis library or a blank template, then star the ones you use most.
Click New template and choose where to start. You can change everything afterwards.
Paste a note you've written. Othisis turns its headings into sections and keeps the layout, not the patient details.
Start from an Othisis template and change what you need. Customize makes your own copy, and the library template stays as it was.
Add your own sections one at a time, each with what it should include and how it's laid out.
Edit a template and Othisis shows a preview of the note as you go. Changes save as you type.
Othisis comes with ready-made templates for notes, letters and handouts. Library templates stay as Othisis wrote them, and Customize makes your own copy you can change.
Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan. The note Othisis writes for every visit you record.
Interval history, response to treatment, findings and next steps, in a concise style.
Requested service, diagnosis, clinical history, prior treatment, findings, functional impact and the clinician's statement of medical necessity.
Reason for referral, your question for the specialist, history, findings, prior treatment, medications and allergies, and precautions.
What we talked about, what to do at home, medicine changes, when to call, and the next visit, in plain words.
Customize any library template, then rename it, set your specialty and change its sections, format and style.
Insurance and referral letters keep their printed layout. Say what each section should include, or remove the ones you don't need.
Othisis writes its SOAP note when you complete a session. Click + to add another document from the same visit.
Your instructions, Othisis's rules
Othisis follows its safety rules before your instructions. It still writes from the visit and the patient's records, diagnoses and plans stay in the clinician's own words, and letters keep their printed layout. Instructions that ask otherwise can't be saved.
