Chrome Extension (Beta)

  • In-browser capture: Record and process a visit from the Othisis Chrome extension on your toolbar, without switching tabs.
  • Clinician-reviewed drafts: The note is structured after the session ends and stays a draft until the clinician reviews, edits, and signs it.
  • Works with the EHR you already use: The transfer is EHR-agnostic, so the clinician can move the approved note into whichever EHR they have open. This capability is currently in beta.
  • Clinician-controlled transfer: Nothing enters the chart until the clinician chooses to send it, and Othisis does not write to the EHR automatically.

No. Othisis does not write to the EHR automatically. Every note is a draft that enters the chart only after the clinician has approved it, edited it if needed, and explicitly signed off.

The clinician chooses how. With the Othisis Chrome extension (currently in beta), an approved note can be moved into the EHR you already have open in your browser. Notes can also be exported in a structured format for upload, or copied across manually. In every case, the clinician reviews and signs off first.

Othisis is EHR-agnostic. The Chrome extension transfer works through your browser instead of a fixed list of built connectors, so it is not limited to specific EHRs. The feature is currently in beta.

It means the feature is still being refined. Notes remain clinician-approved drafts, and structured export and manual copy are always available as alternatives.

Yes. Othisis does not require a connection to your EHR to draft, review, and sign notes. You can use structured export for upload or controlled manual copy.
